SUPPORT OUR THERAPY HERD
None of the valuable therapeutic services NTRC provides would be possible without our “essential workers” -- our highly trained 16-horse therapy herd who are the heart and soul of our therapeutic riding program and equine-assisted group services. Each horse requires a customized nutrition and feeding plan plus an individualized conditioning, exercise, and training routine to maintain the peak performance standards necessary for the safety of participants, staff, and volunteers. In addition to our dedicated Barn and Arena staff who manage all of these activities, other required expenses include hay, feed /supplements, farrier costs, dental and veterinarian visits. Your support can help ensure that our entire herd will remain healthy and physically fit.
